David Lloyd, Harrogate

David Lloyd began a massive £3million development of their newly acquired Harrogate branch in September 2017. As part of this refurbishment, Shades of Comfort were asked to install a fixed (or non-retracting) roof system in their outdoor area to allow for additional seating and shelter from the elements.

This contemporary free standing structure is exceptionally strong and manufactured using 170mm aluminium. It complies with Eurocode EN standards for snow, wind and even earthquake resistance, providing an exceptional quality of outdoor living.

Roof systems offer an excellent way of extending outdoor season usage with reliable construction and modern design. They can be a terrace coverage or simply be a stand-alone facility in the back garden. David Lloyd opted to have heaters on this but other optional extras such as lighting, sliding panels etc. are also available.
