Café Screens are an excellent way to advertise your company and mark out your trading area to stand out from surrounding businesses. It works well for cafes, pubs, restaurants, and even for queuing systems in any public place. Café Screens are also known as pavement screens, barriers and banners and they aid social distancing providing vital re-assurance to your customers.

They are a highly popular choice with the retail sector because of their ease of use where there is often a requirement to put them out at the start of a days trading and then put them away at the end of the day. They also enable different shape areas to be created when required for example with special events.

Advantages of Screening

  • SAFETY

Councils are increasing the number of cafes and hospitality trades that are being asked to put banner screenings up as a safety measure. A physical boundary can prevent customers from tripping over your furniture, and the lower bar acts as a tapping rail for the visually impaired. The Disability Discrimination Act introduced this new feature, along with the gradual incline of a weighted base, to ensure that wheelchair users can safely roll over the posts. Our Café Screens comply with building regulations part M and part K.

  • ENCLOSING YOUR FURNITURE

Along with the safety aspect, enclosing your furniture with screen banners can help to ward off thieves. Your customers will also find it more difficult to move your furniture to where it is not permitted, thus reducing the chance of violating your set boundary which could result in a warning or a fine.

  • BRAND AWARENESS

Our screen banners can be branded on one or both sides to create a highly visible advert for your business. As a low cost and low maintenance advertising solution, your screens will stand out on the high street and create a stylish, organised atmosphere for customers.

Tilt and Pull Café Barrier System

Suitable for both internal and external use, the Tilt and Pull Café Barrier System is the perfect balance between easy mobility and a sturdy base. Corrosion resistant and SGS certified (giving you the peace of mind that our product meets the required national standards). Our durable and innovative bases create an attractive clean finish with a low maintenance cost.

In addition to a beautiful brushed stainless steel finish, these 1000mm high, 15kg weighted posts have integrated rollers and rubber floor protectors. These are hugely beneficial for reducing potential damage to the equipment, reducing manual handling activities and saving your company valuable time.

Each 50mm diameter post has a 350mm dome shaped floor plate and a 65mm flat top crown decoration. Metal cross bars with beam clips attach onto an 8 way connectivity disc at both the top and bottom. The lower ring is floating to allow the banner to act as a shock absorber in windy conditions, thus reducing the risk of the posts from becoming dangerous and moving. The height of the lower ring is calculated to act as a tapping rail for the visually impaired, allowing the system to be recognised as DDA aware.
