It took Shades of Comfort 9 months in total to achieve ISO 9001:2008 and the reason we chose British Standards was when you think quality the benchmark is British Standards.
As Shades has grown we recognise one of the key requirements to providing products and services to larger organisations is having a world class quality system such as ISO 9001:2008. We have found quality standards aligned with our health and safety standards gives us a much broader appeal to clients who provide restaurants and eating facilities with recreation areas for their customers and employees and organisations in the leisure and pleasure industry who provide large scale external seating areas .
