Delivery Policy
YOU MUST BE HOME TO ACCEPT YOUR DELIVERY. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TRANSPORT THE GOODS INTERNALLY WITHIN YOUR HOME. DRIVER WILL NOT POSITION OR ASSEMBLE YOUR DELIVERY UNLESS YOU PAY AN ADDITIONAL FEE WHICH NEEDS TO BE ARRANGED AND PAID FOR PRIOR TO THE DELIVERY - PLEASE ASK REGARDING THIS SERVICE.
- Delivery is specified for all products within mainland UK. Please telephone for an individual quote for other areas.
- All your items that are in stock will be processed within two to five business days from the date of order. Please allow up to 3 days after your order is dispatched from ourselves for our haulage company to make delivery to you.
- After the credit card / debit card / switch card is processed you will receive an email confirmation of the order and expected delivery date. Goods remain the property of Shades of Comfort (UK) Ltd until payment has been received in full (cleared funds to our Bank account and including VAT) by us.
- The day before delivery you will receive a call to confirm delivery and anticipated time window.
- If you require the carrier (delivery company) to come to your shipping address at a particular time or date, you need to inform us on placement of the order.
- We use only reputable delivery companies with good service standards. Any disputes with the delivery company need to be filed with the delivery company, not with Shades of Comfort (UK) Ltd.
- Our couriers can only give approx. delivery times, but cannot guarantee the exact time and date.
- You need to report any damages or order discrepancies within 24 hrs from the date of receipt. We will not entertain any claims that were not reported within this 24hr period.
- No returns will be accepted after 7 days.
- We accept all major credit cards, switch cards and BACS transfers.
- Product availability is based on information supplied by the Manufacturer/Distributor and is subject to change if the Manufacturer/Distributor is unable to meet their estimated delivery dates.
- It is not the delivery companies’ responsibility to take the packages to your garage or inside the house. Delivery companies in general charge additional amount to take the boxes inside your home or garage. That is why we strongly suggest that you must be home to unload your delivery from the truck. Most of our goods come in boxes and weigh approximately 10 - 50 kg per box.
- Check the product to be sure you have received the correct items and quantity ordered. If there is product missing you must inform us straight away.
- Inspect the product for damage. You should look for such things as dents or gouges, rounded corners, broken boxes, Etc. If NO damages are reported within 24hrs, Shades of Comfort (UK) Ltd Cannot Be Held Responsible For Any Damages That Occur. In the unlikely event that your order is damaged in the delivery process or product is missing and it has been notified to us, we will replace the damaged or missing product or refund you in full.
Cancellation & Returns Policy
If for any reason you need to cancel your order with Shades of Comfort (UK) Ltd, you will need to contact us as soon as possible. Do not email your request; you need to talk to one of our Customer Service Representatives to obtain authorisation.
If the product has already been dispatched you will need to make arrangements to return it. You will be responsible for the cost of delivery to and from the scheduled destination. Product must be returned as it was delivered, boxed and sufficiently protected, and in the same condition that it was received.
Return authorisation has to be obtained within 7 days from the date of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 7 days.
Half of the box or partial products can not be returned. If one item is damaged in the box, entire box need to be returned. If any of the goods have been used, or are not available for collection, in certain circumstances Shades of Comfort (UK) Ltd will not be able to replace them.
